EIWTC
There are people who make Pumps & Systems
There are people who teach Pumps & Systems
We do BOTH!
Pumping the Next Generation:
EKKI International Water Technology Centre (EIWTC) is a global centre of excellence for pumps & water-related technologies.
We believe it is vital to encourage young people to consider a career in the Pump Industry and Water-related technologies. The only way we can do this is to provide them with the information and support they need to make an informed career choice.
Mission:
“To create a world class centre of excellence that focuses on making significant difference to the Pump Industry and Water related Technologies”
EIWTC will be crucial for the collection and dissemination of existing knowledge and will provide a hub for:
- Providers of interdisciplinary education, Developing vocational engineering, diploma and apprenticeship student programs both for students and EKKI’s professionals.
- Maintaining a world-class community where research, design, manufacture and study interact effectively to incubate and spin out technology to raise the performance of the industry.
- Support fundamental researchers into emerging water technologies.
- Portals to academic research capability for businesses requiring research support.
- Repositories of unimpeachable expertise accessible to policymakers and the media.
- Developing knowledge-based simulation tools and techniques.
EKKI-MCET International Water Technology Centre (EIWTC):
In collaboration with EKKI, MCET has set up The EKKI-MCET International Water Technology Centre (EIWTC). The centre will lead on the exchange of best practices in teaching and research for the pump industry and water-related technologies. EIWTC brings together pumps & water-related research, teaching and consultancy.
EIWTC is a catalyst for innovation, forward-thinking and problem-solving. We are at the centre of academia and engineering, working together to solve specific business challenges within the industry. We are working with EKKI to deliver creative solutions to industry challenges through our leading expertise and cutting-edge facilities and equipment.
EIWTC is a fantastic example of how a manufacturer and academics can collaborate to bridge the industry’s research gap. The shared vision and priorities that we have developed will make this world-class facility a focal point for research and innovation excellence in Pumps and Water-related technologies.
EKKI-KPRIET International Water Technology Centre
The EKKI-KPR International Water Technology Centre (EIWTC) is a global Centre of excellence for pumps & water-related technologies. The Centre will lead on the exchange of best practices in teaching and research for the pump industry and water-related technologies. EIWTC brings together pumps and water-related Research, Teaching, Consultancy, and Entrepreneurship.
Based at the KPR Institutions, the new Centre will harness the combined expertise of 45+ researchers and academicians from KPR and 40+ engineers from EKKI. The new centre will initially work on “SKE”– Skill Training, Knowledge transfer and Encourage Entrepreneurship in the water industry.
EKKI has set up such centres in India to bridge the gap between academia and industry. EIWTC is housed at KPR institutions as part of the Pump and Water Technology group’s ongoing partnership with academic institutions across India. EKKI heavily invests in skills. EKKI’s workers are all enrolled in academic and vocational training. The company’s customer-training programs, employee training and other aspects of the company’s wider skills projects will also be included in EIWTC.
